After many years of playing music for anyone and everyone, free on the streets, and after many albums recorded on my street piano, the one which I rescued from the dump, and subsequently restored to a level passable among the sirens, car horns, and general chattering of the streets, I decided to create a more "refined" collection of my original compositions. Using some of my busking savings I hired the Byron Bay Community Center hall, complete with a Steinway Concert Grand Piano (worth more than most peoples houses), for a period of three hours. After about an hour of setting up, I recorded this collection. I hope that my unfamiliarity with the instrument and the setting was more than made up for by the incredible quality of the instrument. It was a pleasure to play. Thanks for listening to and sharing this music.
